Rashard Malcom Johnson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rashard Malcom Johnson, a cherished son, husband, father, and friend. Born on April 15, 1987, in Washington, D.C., Rashard was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and strength whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew him. He departed this world peacefully at the age of 39 on August 29, 2026, in Brandywine, Maryland. A visitation service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Union Bethel A.M.E Church, located at 6810 Floral Park Road, Brandywine, Maryland, from 10 a.m. until the service begins at 11 a.m. Rashard will be laid to rest at the National Harmony Memorial Park, 7101 Sheriff Road, Hyattsville, Maryland 20785. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association in Rashard's memory. This organization holds a special place in the hearts of Rashard's family, and contributions will help continue the important work they do. Rashard's departure leaves an irreplaceable void, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. His life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community, and he will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
