Born on May 26, 1995, in the serene town of Grand Haven, MI, Randy's life was a testament to courage, strength, and unwavering love. Randy was the cherished son of Patricia Hackney and Randy Hipps II, and a devoted father to his beloved son, Karson Hipps, who is just six years old. Despite the adversities he faced, Randy's love for Karson was boundless and profound, serving as his guiding light and inspiration. A proud graduate of Pontiac High School, Randy's journey was marked by bravery and resilience. He served his country with honor as a 1371 Combat Engineer in the United States Marine Corps. His service was a reflection of his deep commitment to protecting those he loved, a trait that he carried throughout his life. Randy was not just a protector but a beacon of kindness. To him, friends were as dear as family, and he built connections that were rooted in genuine care and compassion. His ability to treat everyone with warmth and respect was a testament to his character, making those around him feel valued and loved. In the face of personal struggles, Randy fought valiantly against mental health issues. His journey serves as a poignant reminder of the silent battles many face, and the importance of compassion and understanding in our world. A private funeral service will be held, as per the family's wishes, allowing a few close family members to gather in remembrance and reflection of Randy's life.
