It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randolph Delgado, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother and great grandfather who left this world on October 6, 2026, at the age of 75. Born in Beaumont, Texas, on September 19, 1951, Randolph was the cherished son of the late Mr. Francisco Delgado and Mrs. Ramona Briseno. Randolph shared a beautiful life with his wife of 54 years, Frances P. Delgado, whom he met at a dance in Port Arthur, Texas, after she moved from Victoria, Texas, in 1969. Together, they embarked on adventures traveling to Mexico, Germany, and Kansas, creating a lifetime of cherished memories. They found joy in the simple pleasures, often sitting outside, sipping coffee, and watching the birds and squirrels. Randolph is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Shelley Wilson, Susan Delgado, and Andrea Samano, as well as his nine grandchildren: David Mills, Elisha Bonton, Yasmine Lafleur, Isaiah Keal, Skyla Leblanc, Benjamin Guidry, Isabella Guidry, and Leonel Calderon Tristan Rodriguez. He was also blessed with one great-grandchild Amirion . Randolph leaves behind his devoted sisters, Frances Gonzales, Dora Rodriguez, Becky Leblanc, Mary Lee, and Priscilla Maradiaga, and his brothers, Robert Delgado, Frank Delgado, and Christopher Delgado. A man of diverse talents and interests, Randolph earned his GED and served his country honorably in the Army from 1972 to 1974. He worked in various roles throughout his career, including as a delivery driver for Borden Milk, at DuPont, delivering produce, and as a chauffeur at Mike’s Smith. Randolph was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and served as an altar boy at Cristo Rey Catholic Church in his youth. Randolph was known for his love of fishing and playing cards. He was a man who was always thinking ahead, earning the affectionate nickname "History" for his love of reading and learning. His family treasures the wisdom and humor he shared with them. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Harbor Hospice, whose compassionate care and support provided comfort to Randolph and his family during his final days. Their kindness and professionalism will always be remembered. In keeping with his wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Randolph's life. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice. Randolph Delgado will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
