Randi Gail Teel, a cherished and beloved member of her community, passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on July 1, 1952, in Bowie, Texas, Randi's life was marked by a deep devotion to family, friends, and her community.
Randi was the treasured daughter of Kenneth Wade Roland and Lois Marie Cummings, who instilled in her the values of kindness, hard work, and resilience. She was predeceased by her parents, her daughter Tammy ShaRee' Hight, her brother Roy Wade Roland, and her grandson Casey Rodriguez. Despite these profound losses, Randi remained a beacon of strength and love for her surviving family members.
Randi's legacy is lovingly carried on by her daughter, Ta'Mina & Kenneth Strain of Colorado Springs, CO, her brother Michael & Shirley Roland of Bellevue, Texas, and her sister Stanley Rater of Buffalo Springs, Texas. Her grandchildren, Patrick & Jocy Hight of Abilene, Texas, JC & Sarah Rodriguez of Breckenridge, Texas, and Soy'La ShaRee' Perez of Breckenridge, Texas, were the light of her life. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Aalyiah Salazar & Jerry Lawson of Stillwater, OK, Jaiven & Ryland Rodriguez of Breckenridge, Texas, and Darrell Ja'Casey Roberson of Granbury, Texas.
Randi's professional journey was as remarkable as her personal life. For 27 years, she worked alongside her mother at Jack's Coffee Shop, where she became a familiar and friendly face to many. Later, she took on the role of general manager at Dairy Queen, where she worked for 15 years before retiring. Her dedication and leadership left an indelible mark on colleagues and customers alike.
Beyond her professional achievements, Randi's heart was always with her family. She was the number one fan of her grandchildren, attending every event and cheering them on with boundless enthusiasm. Known affectionately as "Nanny" to many, her nurturing spirit and infectious laughter brought joy to all who knew her.
A celebration of Randi's life will be held on August 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the First Methodist Church, located at 419 West Walker, Breckenridge, Texas 76424. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Randi are invited to join in remembering and honoring her remarkable life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society - Breast Cancer Fund, continuing Randi's legacy of compassion and support for those in need.
