January 30, 1963 — August 6, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randall Hugh Soules, beloved father, grandfather, son, and brother, who left this world on August 6, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on January 30, 1963, in Midland, Texas, Randy was the cherished son of Emma Vowell and the late C.A. Soules. Randy grew up in Odessa, Texas, where he attended San Jacinto Elementary, Crockett Jr High, and Odessa High. Following his education, he embarked on a career as a pump mechanic with CPR Specialists. He dedicated his life to working in the oilfields across West Texas, where his exceptional skills were always in demand. Whether it was repairing pumps, vehicles, or any machinery that needed attention, Randy had the uncanny ability to fix just about anything. Known for his generous spirit, Randy was a man who, despite not having much himself, was always eager to help others when he could. His life was enriched by his love for the great outdoors, and he spent countless cherished moments fishing, hunting, camping, and enjoying the company of friends and family. Randy's legacy is carried on by his loving children, Scotty Dewayne Soules, Brandi Nicole Soules, and Cody Wayne Soules, as well as his treasured grandchildren, Corbin Soules, Mason Soules, Addison Belknap, and Aubrey Green. He is also survived by his dear mother, Emma Vowell, and siblings Chuck Soules (Debbie) of Houston, Texas, Cheryl Baker of Odessa, Texas, Robert Soules of Odessa, Texas, Mark Soules of Odessa, Texas, and Bobby Hummel (Blanca) of Odessa, Texas. Randy was preceded in death by his father, C.A. Soules, his brother, Reggie White, and his grandparents, Donald and Mary Powell and Hugh and Myrtle Soules. In honor of Randy's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held with close family and friends. For those who wish to commemorate Randy's life, donations can be made to a charity of their choice, reflecting Randy’s spirit of giving and generosity. Randy will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he shared so freely in life.
