It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ramon Flores, affectionately known to many as Ray. Ray left us on May 15, 2026, at the age of 51, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Born on September 3, 1974, in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ray was the beloved son of Ramon Flores and the late Mary Radmall. Ray was a man defined by his kindness, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved. He was a caring brother, a cherished uncle, and a loyal friend. He is lovingly remembered by his sister Liz Corbett, brothers John De La Huerta and Danny De La Huerta, and a host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. They, along with many friends, will continue to honor his memory and carry forward his legacy of warmth and generosity. Though he had no grandchildren, Ray's nurturing spirit made him a beloved figure in the lives of his extended family. Ray was preceded in death by his loving mother, Mary Radmall, and his brothers, David De La Huerta and Roy De La Huerta. Their memories were dear to him, and he often spoke of them with fondness and respect. A proud graduate of Bonanza High School in 1992, Ray later pursued his passion for mechanics at the Universal Technical Institute of Arizona, where he graduated in 1996 with expertise in diesel and automotive technology. His career was marked by dedication and hard work, qualities that were evident in his roles as a storeroom clerk and driver for the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas, as well as a mechanic at Neff Rental and Performance Dodge/Allied Repair. Ray's colleagues admired his skill, work ethic, and his ability to spread a smile even during the busiest of days. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ray was a man of simple joys. He cherished moments spent with family, often filling gatherings with laughter and love. His friends remember him as someone who could light up the room with his humor and heartfelt stories. Ray had a unique ability to connect with people, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. A celebration of Ray's life will be held on June 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Living Grace Foursquare Church, located at 3646 N. Rancho. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor and remember Ray, sharing stories and memories that highlight the beautiful life he lived. Though our hearts ache with the void left by his passing, we find solace in the love and joy he shared with us. Ray's legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and an unwavering love for life. He will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, now reunited with those who have gone before him.
