Ramesh was a man who truly celebrated life in all its forms. He possessed an extraordinary gift for transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. His home was a sanctuary of warmth, laughter, and love, where the aroma of his exquisite cooking filled the air and people gathered to share in the joy of togetherness. His culinary creations were not just meals; they were occasions that brought family and friends together, creating bonds that would last a lifetime. Ramesh’s love for music was infectious, and his dance moves could light up any room. His laughter was a melody of its own, and his kind heart was a balm to those in need. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Indra Ramalakhan, who was his partner in life and love. Together, they built a family filled with love and laughter. Ramesh is survived by his devoted children: Richard Ramalakhan, Videsh Ramalakhan, Rajkumar (affectionately known as Baby), and Dave (lovingly called Ron) Ramalakhan. His legacy of love and warmth also lives on through his cherished granddaughters: Britney Ramlakhan, Brianna Ramlakhan, and Shalini Ramlakhan, who will forever carry his spirit in their hearts. A service to honor and celebrate the life of Ramesh Ramalakhan will be held on March 23, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Unity Funeral Chapel, 1406 Pitkin Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11233. Family, friends, and all whose lives were enriched by Ramesh are invited to join in a celebration of his extraordinary life. As we say goodbye to a remarkable man who taught us the true meaning of love, laughter, and togetherness, we hold close the memories of his infectious smile, his warm embrace, and his unwavering spirit.
