Ralph Warren Pehrson
August 3, 1935 — December 5, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Ralph Warren Pehrson, who left this world peacefully on December 5, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on August 3, 1935, in the vibrant city of Seattle, WA, Ralph was the cherished son of the late Carol and Leslie Pehrson.
Ralph's journey through life was guided by a passion for creativity and a commitment to service. After graduating from Yakima High School in 1953, he pursued his love for the arts, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from Washington State College in 1958. His education was briefly paused as he answered the call to serve his country in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1961, a period he always spoke of with pride and honor.
Ralph's professional career was marked by creativity and innovation as a writer, designer, and speaker at Pehrson & Associates, a small business advertising firm. His work not only helped shape the image and success of countless businesses but also left an indelible mark on the industry. Ralph's eloquence and passion for communication found a natural home in Toastmasters, where he was an active member for 60 years. Ralph held numerous Area, District, and Division offices, and his legacy includes founding several clubs, including the historic first Toastmasters club in Russia in 1989. His dedication extended to volunteering as a sponsor for Monroe prison clubs, where he touched many lives with his wisdom and kindness.
Ralph's spirit of giving was equally evident in his involvement with the Lynnwood Rotary Club, his participation in three local community bands, and his support for the organization Vehicles for Veterans. He believed in the power of community and the importance of giving back, values he instilled in those around him.
Ralph was predeceased by his beloved parents, Carol and Leslie Pehrson. He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, including his dear sister, Arlene Harrison, his nephew Mark Harrison, and his niece Denise Bryce. Ralph's legacy continues through his son, daughter, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, and his five beloved grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of his heart and spirit.
In remembering Ralph, we celebrate a life that was rich with purpose and love. His warmth, humor, and unwavering kindness touched all who knew him. As we gather to honor his memory, we are reminded of the profound impact one life can have on so many others.
Ralph Warren Pehrson's journey was one of dedication, creativity, and a deep love for those around him. May his memory be a blessing, and may his legacy of service and compassion inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A private family service will be held to honor Ralph's remarkable life, and a public celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Ralph's name to Vehicles for Veterans, an organization he passionately supported.
