It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rahim Jackson, who left this world on September 8, 2026. Born on December 16, 1986, in Rochester, NY, Rahim was a beacon of love and joy to all who were fortunate to know him. Rahim was the beloved son of the late Grace Pittman and Larry Jackson, who, along with his grandparents Oris and Annette Jackson, Uncle David Scott, and Aunts Angie Kirkland-Jackson and Jacqueline Jackson, preceded him in death. He leaves behind a loving family, including his cherished siblings Maylene (Ben) Cardwell, Christine Pittman, Benard, Marcus, and Dimonte. His aunts Ashley, Lisa, Bertha, Sheila, and Diane Jackson, along with his Great Aunt Rose Howard, will miss him dearly. Rahim's first cousins Latriay, Damon, Cleveland, Lamont, Malcolm, and Alvin will forever hold his memory in their hearts. Rahim's education began at Newark High School, where he built the foundation for a life filled with devotion and love. From a young age, Rahim embraced his faith, giving his life to Christ and attending church in Newark, NY. His spiritual journey led him to become a beloved member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where he found joy in worshiping the Lord. A man of many interests, Rahim was known for his love of UNO card games and old school music. The sounds of drums and guitar were magical to his ears and heart. He also had a fondness for scary movies, cherishing evenings spent watching them with his family. Rahim's love for his family was unwavering and unconditional; he was always present at family gatherings, picnics, reunions, and game nights, determined to share in the joy of togetherness. Rahim will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious smile, and the joy he brought to those around him. He had a unique ability to lift spirits and make everyone happy. His kindness and warmth touched countless lives, leaving a legacy of love and laughter. A celebration of Rahim's life will be held on September 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, located at 304 Joseph Ave, Rochester, NY 14605. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the expressions of sympathy, support, and contributions received during this time of bereavement. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Rahim's memory to a charity of your choice. Rahim's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. His legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who knew him.
