It is with profound sadness that the family of Rafael Revilla Sr. announces his passing on June 1, 2026, at the age of 81. A cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Rafael's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and resilience. Born on July 30, 1944, to Brígida and Macario Revilla, Rafael grew up in a home filled with warmth and devotion. He learned early the importance of family, a value he would carry with him throughout his life. Rafael was predeceased by his beloved parents, his sons Ricky and Jessie, his sister Rachel, and his brother Robert. Their memories remained a guiding light for him. Rafael is survived by a loving family who cherished him. His legacy continues through his children: Rafael Jr. (Teresa), Rey (Melanie), Rene (Ellen), and Rosie (Josh) Vicks; by his former wife, Isabel Gonzales, with whom he shared his children; and by his loving companion, Judy Fulger, who shared his life at the time of his passing. He also leaves behind his dear sister Elva Revilla, his brothers Raul Revilla, Juan Revilla and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. who brought immense joy to his life. Rafael's life was marked by his dedication to his family and his community. He was a man of integrity, kindness, and quiet strength, known for his gentle spirit and generous heart. He cherished each moment spent with his family and friends, often sharing stories that made everyone laugh and reflect on life's simple pleasures. A celebration of Rafael's life will be held on July 17, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Paradise Funeral Chapel, located at 2900 N. Waverly, Lansing, MI. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and remember a man who touched so many lives with his warmth and compassion. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Rafael Revilla Sr.'s memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting his spirit of giving and love for his fellow man. Rafael's presence will be dearly missed, but his legacy of love, kindness, and family unity will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
