In Loving Memory

RaeLynn Ripley Pickering
May 17, 2025 — October 11, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved RaeLynn Ripley Pickering, who left this world far too soon on October 11th, 2026, cradled by love and the warm embrace of family. Born on May 17th, 2025, in Greeley, Colorado, RaeLynn was a radiant light in the lives of those who knew her, no matter how briefly.
RaeLynn was a joyous spirit, a vibrant and happy-go-lucky little lady whose presence was always marked by her signature big hair bows and the bright energy that seemed to follow her wherever she went. She was rarely seen without her cherished stuffed pig, lacey blanket, and a small stash of Ritz crackers, her constant companions in her short but cherished journey through life.
The daughter of Lacy A. Pickering, RaeLynn was the embodiment of resilience and joy. Even as she bravely battled leukemia, her indomitable spirit never dimmed. Her melodic voice could be heard singing everything from "This Little Light of Mine" to more lively tunes like "Get Low." Though she was initially timid with strangers, RaeLynn's warmth and exuberance would soon take hold, and she would be bouncing off the walls with newfound friends.
RaeLynn joins her grandfather, Aaron D. Pickering, in eternal peace, where their souls are now reunited, free from the struggles of this earthly life. Her brief time with us was a precious gift, and she has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of RaeLynn's life will take place on October 18th, 2026, at 3:30 PM at Generations Church, located at 3600 W 22nd St, Greeley, CO 80634. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to gather and honor her memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in RaeLynn's memory to organizations dedicated to pediatric leukemia research and support, offering hope to other children and families facing similar battles.
RaeLynn's light, though briefly shared, will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, reminding us all of the joy, love, and courage she brought into this world.
