Rachael Reinschmidt

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rachael Reinschmidt , who left this world on July 23, 2026, at the age of 38. Born on January 24, 1988, in Auburn, Washington, Rachael was a beacon of joy and warmth to all who knew her. Rachael was the beloved daughter of Michael S. and Denise Masterjohn. She is predeceased by her dear brother Steven, whose memory she always kept close to her heart. Rachael is survived by her devoted fiancé, Scot Drury, with whom she shared a life filled with love, adventure, and shared dreams. A loving mother, Rachael leaves behind her cherished children: Sophia (Terrence), Nyla, Myah and Matthew; and her granddaughter Briar. She found immense joy in her role as a mother, and her children were the light of her life. Rachael's surviving family also includes her brother Michael (Marcia), nephew Scot, niece Cloie (James) and great-nephew Lian. Rachael's life was filled with simple joys and meaningful passions. She loved spending time with family and dear friends. Rachael’s adventurous spirit and love for life were infectious, and she was lovingly referred to as "Buddha" by those who sought her wise and compassionate advice. A celebration of Rachael's life will be held on August 9, 2026, at 12:00pm until 4:00pm at the Spring Creek Marina in Spring Creek, NV. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to join in honoring her memory. There will be a potluck. Rachael's light shone brightly and touched the lives of so many. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will remain a guiding star for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
