In loving memory of Quintez, who was born on July 16, 1985, in Louisville, KY, and passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026, at Baptist East Hospital, surrounded by those he dearly loved. Son of Kathy Wheatley and Rudy Thompson, Quintez leaves behind a family who cherished him dearly. His loving mother, Kathy, his brothers Rudy and Ricky and sister Tasha and sister-in-law Trina, along with his niece and nephew Julianna and Michael, and his cousins Jermaine, Twania, and Rochelle, all held a special place in his heart. He also shared his life with a circle of close friends, including Charles, Lamar, Dave, Rocky, Rob, Tyrone, Larry, Michelle and his beloved classmates from the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research (IDMR), where he had been a dedicated member for 35 years. Quintez loved to talk about Dr. Henry Clifford Kinley who's the founder and Dean of the IDMR. He also loved to talk about Dr. Robert Harris who was a medical doctor and international Dean of the IDMR. He preached that to have eternal life it is absolutly necessary to have the Holy Spirit. Quintez had a strong curiosity about many things, evident in his many passions. He loved to cook and grill, and his musical talent shone through his guitar playing. His athleticism was impressive, and he had a particular love for martial arts. Known for his youthful enthusiasm, he could often be found flipping around in his younger years, bringing smiles to those who watched, and he had a gift for art. Later, he further enriched his life by studying massage therapy, always eager to learn and grow. He was deeply loved by his family, close friends, and fellow class members. In his final months, his kindness was boundless, forever leaving an imprint on the hearts of his friends and family. A service to honor Quintez's life will be held on October 10, 2026 at: 347 Kenwood way Louisville, Ky 40214 11:30am - 1:00pm The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Baptist East Hospital Hospice Palliative Care Unit for their compassionate care during Quintez's final days.
