It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Qui-Mani Allen Dydell, who departed this world on June 6, 2026, at the age of 28, due to a tragic car accident caused by a drunk driver. Born on October 25, 1997, in the vibrant city of Denver, Colorado, Qui's life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to his family and craft.
Qui was the cherished son of Christopher Williams and Micki L. Adams. He leaves behind two beloved children, Kamari A. and Imani A. Dydell, who were the light of his life and whom he adored beyond measure. He is also survived by his siblings, Uriah (Paige) Dydell and KeShawn Kiss, who shared countless memories and an unbreakable bond with him.
His family circle extended to his dear aunts, Michelle Richardson of Denver, Colorado, and his uncles, Sigmund Dydell, also of Denver. His cousins, Ari (Leonard) Levinston in Ft. Qui attended Prairie Middle School and Overland High School, where he discovered his passion for music, particularly rapping and singing. This passion flourished into a career as a rap artist, where he poured his heart and soul into every lyric and note. His music was not just an art form but a means to connect with others, a reflection of the love and joy he found in life.
Known for his ability to make everyone feel welcome, Qui had a unique gift for bringing people together, creating an atmosphere of warmth wherever he went. His kindness and devotion were the cornerstones of his character, traits that were felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though Qui was not a member of formal organizations, his heart was dedicated to his family and his music. His legacy will live on through his children and the indelible mark he left on his family, friends, and fans alike.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. They hold onto the special message that Qui's legacy, kindness, and devotion will continue in the lives of all who loved him.
A private service will be held to honor Qui's memory and celebrate the beautiful life he lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Qui's name to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), in hopes of preventing future tragedies.
