October 6, 1999 — December 14, 2020

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Quaasia “QuaQua” Clements, who departed this world on December 14, 2020, at the tender age of 21. Quaasia was born on October 6, 1999, in the charming town of Timmonsville, South Carolina, a community that she cherished and that cherished her in return. Daughter of Johnson Lee and Kalaonda Jackson, Quaasia was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She was a cherished sister, a devoted friend, and a loving partner, having shared the past five years of her life with her boyfriend, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Quaasia's educational journey began at North Vista Elementary School, continued through Southside Middle School, and culminated at South Florence High School. Throughout her school years, she was known for her radiant smile and the beautiful voice that seemed to sing directly from her heart. Her infectious laughter and the warmth of her personality left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to meet her. Following her schooling, Quaasia worked at Dairy Queen, where she was more than just a colleague; she was a friend and a source of joy to her coworkers and customers alike. Her work ethic and charisma made her a beloved member of the Dairy Queen family. A woman of faith, Quaasia was baptized at the tender age of eight at Chaney Grove Baptist Church, located at 6358 Maple Street. Her church community was a vital part of her life, offering her support and love throughout her journey. Quaasia had a passion for dance and singing, pursuits that brought her immense joy and allowed her to express her vibrant personality. She loved getting her hair done, each new style a testament to her creativity and zest for life. Her pretty voice and dazzling smile could brighten even the darkest of days. The Clements family, along with Quaasia’s extended circle of friends and loved ones, invite you to join them in celebrating her life on January 14, 2020, at 2:45 PM at Chaney Grove Baptist Church. As we gather to honor Quaasia’s memory, we hold close the special message from her family: "You will forever be in our hearts. Our love will never leave us." Though Quaasia’s time with us was far too short, her legacy of love, laughter, and light will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. As we say goodbye, we do so with gratitude for the time we shared and the beautiful memories she leaves behind. Rest in peace, dear Quaasia. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
