Born on July 12, 1964, in the vibrant city of Kansas City, Missouri, Pvon was a beacon of joy and laughter to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Pvon was the treasured son of Rosie Carruthers and Johnny Burks, who raised him with love and instilled in him a deep sense of humor and a zest for life. These qualities would come to define him as he journeyed through life, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met. Known for his infectious laughter and remarkable ability to bring joy to any room, Pvon had a gift for making others laugh. His unparalleled sense of humor and amazing character were constants throughout his life. Whether through a shared joke or a light-hearted conversation, he effortlessly uplifted those around him, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Pvon's legacy continues through the lives of his children, Martha Rogers, Eric Burks, Shira McKinney, Terry Burks, Pvon Eric Burks, Teiara Burks, Rosie Harris (Ricky Harris), Kyman Burks and Kesha Pace. who carry forward his spirit of generosity and warmth. His love and wisdom will also be fondly remembered by his ten grandchildren, who were a source of immense pride and joy.
