August 13, 1940 — March 2, 2026

In loving memory of Priscilla Lane Wennberg, who peacefully departed this life on March 2, 2026, surrounded by her beloved family at her home, we celebrate the remarkable journey of a woman whose warmth and generosity touched everyone she encountered. Priscilla was born on August 13, 1940, in New York City, NY, to James and Etta Jackson. She was the cherished daughter of a family that instilled in her a deep sense of compassion and resilience, qualities that she carried throughout her life. Priscilla's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, family, and community. In 1963, Priscilla married the love of her life, Alfred Vincent Wennberg Jr., in a beautiful ceremony in Nassau County Long Island NY. Together, they built a life rooted in love and mutual respect, creating a home filled with laughter and joy. Though Alfred preceded her in death, their union was blessed with three wonderful children: James Andrew Wennberg, Stephen Alfred Wennberg, and Doreen Elizabeth Hitt, who carry forward her legacy with grace and dignity. Priscilla was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was the heart of her world, and she took immense pride in her grandchildren, Isabella Rose Wennberg, Alexandria Lane Wennberg, Guinevere Elizabeth Wennberg, Jessica Lynn Arruda, Sean Manuel Arruda, Christopher Alfred Holiday, and Conner Prince, as well as her great-grandchildren, Kayda Renee Burrows and Skyler Radley Burrows. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were the cornerstones of her family's foundation. As the owner and operator of Frenchman's Tavern in Cocoa, FL, Priscilla was known for her warm hospitality and her ability to create an atmosphere that felt like home to all who visited. Her dedication to her community extended beyond her professional life. She was a passionate advocate for animal welfare, generously supporting the SPCA and various cancer organizations, reflecting her boundless empathy and commitment to making the world a better place. Priscilla was preceded in death by her loving parents, James and Etta, her in-laws, Alfred and Edna Wennberg, and her beloved husband, Alfred Vincent Wennberg Jr. Her legacy of kindness and generosity lives on in the hearts of her surviving family: her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Rebecca Spitler Wennberg, and Patricia Ann Anderson. A celebration of Priscilla's life will be held on March 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Elks Lodge #1532, located at 315 Florida Ave. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the memory of a woman who brought so much light and love into the world. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Priscilla's memory to the SPCA of Brevard County, a cause close to her heart. Priscilla Lane Wennberg will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and her enduring contributions to her community. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her, and her memory will forever be cherished.
