September 11, 1995 — January 25, 2026

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Pricilla Puntez Estrailde, a cherished wife, devoted mother, and dedicated public servant, who departed this world on January 25, 2026. Born on September 11, 1995, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Pricilla's journey through life was marked by courage, love, and unwavering commitment. Pricilla's life was a testament to perseverance and devotion. In 2011, she and her family moved from Chihuahua to Puyallup, Washington, where she embraced new opportunities and experiences. Pricilla graduated from Rogers High School in 2014, a place that not only shaped her future but also introduced her to her soulmate, Michael Stixrud, whom she met in 2013. Their love story blossomed, culminating in marriage on March 10, 2018. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and joy, welcoming their beloved daughter, Acacia Estrailde. Dedicated to serving her country, Pricilla joined the United States Navy in 2014, where she excelled as a spy technician. Her service to the nation was a source of immense pride and fulfillment, and she continued to serve until 2026 when she transitioned to a new role as a Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputy. Tragically, Pricilla gave her life in the line of duty, a testament to her bravery and commitment to protecting others. Pricilla's spirit was as vibrant as it was compassionate. She was known for her great personality, loving heart, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her daughter, Acacia, was the light of her life, and her bond with Michael was a source of strength and love. Outside of her professional life, Pricilla was a member of LA Fitness, where she embraced an active lifestyle and enjoyed the camaraderie of fellow members. Her life, though too brief, was filled with purpose and passion, touching the lives of all who knew her. Pricilla is survived by her loving husband, Michael Stixrud, and their precious daughter, Acacia Estrailde. She is also survived by her devoted parents, Jose and Hilda Estrailde. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Maria, whose memory she cherished dearly. A private funeral service to honor Pricilla's remarkable life will be held on July 26, 2026. Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department and the Behind the Badge Foundation for their unwavering support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Pricilla's memory, honoring her legacy of service and sacrifice. Pricilla's light will continue to shine through the hearts of those she touched. Her courage, kindness, and love will forever be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege to know her.
