Born on January 1, 2003, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Pricilla was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and friend. She brightened the lives of all who knew her with her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and unwavering compassion.
Pricilla was the cherished daughter of Regina Perkins and Lamont Carter. Growing up in Knoxville, she developed a deep passion for caring for others, a trait that would define her life. Pricilla graduated from Austin East Magnet High School, where she was not only a diligent student but also a beacon of kindness and support to her peers.
In August of 2020, Pricilla married the love of her life, Adarius Redmond, in a union that embodied true partnership and devotion. Together, they were blessed with a son, Adarius Redmond Jr., who was the light of her life and the focus of her boundless love and dedication. As a mother, Pricilla was unparalleled—she devoted herself entirely to her family, ensuring that their lives were filled with warmth, laughter, and nurturing care.
Pricilla was a true testament to the power of compassion. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, ensuring that no one ever went without. Her caring words and warm hugs were solace to many, and her presence could light up any room. Pricilla's legacy is one of kindness and empathy, qualities that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Adarius Redmond, and their son, Adarius Redmond Jr. Her loss is deeply felt by her siblings, Jamaury Carter, Timothy Carter, Natilla Young, Kenneisha Carter-Hudson, Ava Carter-Hudson, and Tyrik Kenneth Carter. Pricilla was predeceased by her beloved family members Robin Perkins, Johnny Perkins, and Trisha Carter, who are undoubtedly welcoming her with open arms.
In honoring Pricilla’s wishes, a private ceremony will be held to celebrate her life. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to all who were present and offered support during her time of need.
Pricilla’s family kindly requests that any memorial contributions be made in her name to a charity of choice, as a tribute to her generous spirit and commitment to helping others.
