Born on June 29, 1930, in the serene village of Kurinji, Kottayam, Devasia lived a life marked by grace, resilience, and an unwavering love for her family. Devasia was a beacon of strength and kindness, embodying the spirit of generosity and warmth. She was the beloved wife of her devoted husband X, and together they built a family filled with love and cherished memories. As a nurturing and supportive mother, she guided her children, x and y, with wisdom and care, instilling values that will endure for generations. Her legacy continues through her grandchild, who brought immense joy to her life. Throughout her remarkable 94 years, Devasia touched the lives of many with her gentle spirit and open heart. Her community in Kurinji and beyond was enriched by her presence, and she will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her dedication to her loved ones, and her ability to bring people together with her kind words and infectious smile. A memorial service to honor the life of P.M. Devasia will be held on July 18, 2026, at 8:15 in the morning at the Church in Kottayam. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate her life, share memories, and find solace in the company of those who knew and loved Devasia. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to a charity or cause that holds personal significance.
