Pleshette was the beloved daughter of Mabel Thompson and Kerdis Evans. Her life, a testament to strength and perseverance, was marked by the deep love she had for her family, including her father, Kerdis Evans, her devoted partner, Vernell Love, and her children, Mabel Evans, Mattie Allen, Antonia Rudie, Keionna Dullavan, Timothy Johnson, and Elijah Rudie. She also leaves behind her cherished sister, Sadie Evans, and brother, Damon Evans, alongside a host of close friends, Lolita, Lavette, and Tiesha, who were like family to her.
Pleshette was predeceased by her loving mother, Mabel Thompson, her stepmother, Sandra Ford, and her brother, Samuel Ford, whose memories she held close to her heart. Her life was a testament to the enduring power of family bonds and the unyielding strength of love.
On July 24, 2021, Pleshette married the love of her life, Vernell Love, in Milwaukee, WI, though their journey together began in the tender days of their early teenage years. Their union was a celebration of a love that had matured and deepened over time, a love that was a constant source of joy and strength for Pleshette.
A proud graduate of MATC, where she earned her GED, Pleshette was a visionary entrepreneur. She dedicated her life to her company, "REAL LIVE MONEY MAKERS," embodying the values of diligence and integrity, never forgetting the value of a dollar. Her professional legacy is one of empowerment and inspiration, a reflection of her unwavering dedication to her mission.
Pleshette's faith was a cornerstone of her life. Although she attended many churches over time, she found her spiritual home at Bible Way Church. Her commitment to her faith was unwavering, as she continued to support her church through tithes even when health challenges prevented her physical attendance.
Life with Pleshette was filled with laughter, music, and love. She adored spending time with her loved ones, reveling in the joy of her grandchildren, and immersing herself in the soulful notes of church music and R&B. Her laughter was infectious, her jokes delightful, and her presence, the life of any gathering. Despite life's challenges, she greeted each day with a resilient spirit and an open heart.
Though quick-tempered at times, this was a reflection of her passion and her desire to be understood. Her love was a powerful force, one that left an indelible mark on all who knew her. The love she shared with the world will never be forgotten, living on in the hearts of those she touched.
A service to celebrate the life of Pleshette Evans will be held on May 6, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Northwestern Funeral Home, located at 6630 W. Hampton Ave. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who attend, as well as to the compassionate staff of Northwestern Funeral Home for their unwavering support during this difficult time.
