Born on August 9, 1935, in Howard Beach, New York, Phyllis graced this world with her presence for 90 remarkable years, during which she touched countless lives with her thoughtful and generous spirit. Phyllis was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Emma; her dear daughters, Lisa Napoletano and Christina Fischetti; her treasured granddaughter, Nicole Napoletano; and her precious great-granddaughter, Lisa Nicole Napoletano. These losses weighed heavily on her heart, yet she continued to be a source of strength and warmth for those who remained. Her legacy lives on through her surviving children, Susan, Regina, and James Emma, who were the center of her universe. Phyllis was immensely proud of her family, including her seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and fulfillment. Phyllis's life was marked by her dedication and compassion for others. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, she spent her career offering care and support to those in need, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched. Her thoughtful and generous nature extended beyond her professional life; she was a steadfast friend to many, always ready with a listening ear and a comforting presence. In her personal life, Phyllis found joy in the simple pleasures. She had a passion for shopping and delighted in discovering new treasures to share with her loved ones. Her inquisitive nature led her to explore foreign languages and music, pursuits that enriched her life and broadened her horizons.
