Phyllis quietly departed this world on May 3, 2026, at the age of 61, peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family.
Born on December 21, 1964, in Harrisburg, PA, Phyllis was the cherished daughter of Mary and George Rupp. From a young age, she exhibited an extraordinary kindness and strength that would become her hallmark throughout her life. Phyllis is survived by her siblings Rosemary Russ, Gary Rupp, Ronnie Rupp, Tinamarie Orth, Harry Rupp, and Brenda Pottieger, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
In July of 2002, Phyllis married Steve, her devoted husband and partner of 23 years. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and companionship, marked by laughter, mutual respect, and unwavering support. Together, they built a life that celebrated family, connection, and shared dreams.
Phyllis was a dedicated and nurturing mother to her children, Danny McLaughlin, Patrick Cassel, Anna Cassel, and Anthony Cassel. She instilled in them the values of compassion, perseverance, and love, guiding them with her gentle wisdom and generous spirit. Her legacy continues through her five precious grandchildren, who brought immense joy and fulfillment to her life. Her eyes would light up at the mere mention of their names, and she cherished every moment spent in their company.
