Phoungeun Siyavong

In loving memory of Phoungeun Siyavong, who peacefully passed away on September 28, 2026, surrounded and cherished by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren at Logan Regional Hospital. Phoungeun was born on September 14, 1954, in the beautiful land of Laos. Her journey brought her to a life filled with love, dedication, and profound resilience. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Somvang Siyavong, with whom she shared 52 joyous years of marriage. Together, they built a legacy of love and family that continues to thrive. Phoungeun's life was marked by her tireless work ethic and commitment to providing for her family. For over three decades, she worked as a machine operator, while also dedicating more than 20 years to her role at Abbott Laboratories. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her unwavering devotion to her family and community. A pillar of strength and compassion, Phoungeun was deeply involved in the Laos temple, where she gave tirelessly of herself to help the community and its families. Her passion for supporting those around her was evident in everything she did, and her generosity knew no bounds—even when resources were scarce, her spirit of giving never wavered. Phoungeun's personal life was filled with simple joys and cherished moments. She found great pleasure in fishing and visiting the casino, where she enjoyed playing the Buffalo machine. Above all, she adored caring for her family, which included her nine beloved children: Siri, Tori, Mina, Michelle, Tatyana, Amy, Darling and her twins, Bobby and Danny. Her legacy of love extends to her 23 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Her family, friends, and all those who were touched by her kindness and warmth will deeply miss Phoungeun. She was predeceased by her husband, Somvang, and her loving mother. A service to honor and celebrate Phoungeun's remarkable life will be held on October 9, 2026 at 1:00pm. Phoungeun Siyavong's life was a testament to love, hard work, and the immeasurable impact of a kind heart. May her spirit continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
