Phillis Green

August 14, 1962 — June 28, 2026

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Phillis Green, a cherished wife, beloved sister, and dear friend to many, who left this world peacefully on June 28, 2026, after a brave battle with cancer. Phillis was born on August 14, 1962, in the vibrant city of Baltimore, Maryland, where she spent her life surrounded by the warmth and love of her family and friends. Phillis was the beloved daughter of the late Bill and Mary Green, who preceded her in death, along with her siblings Sam and Susan. Despite these losses, Phillis's heart remained open and loving, always finding joy in the presence of her surviving family: her devoted husband, Milton White, and her cherished siblings, Cynthia and David. A proud graduate of Lake Clifton High School, Phillis embraced her career with dedication and enthusiasm, serving as a manager at Burger King. Her colleagues remember her not just as a leader but as a compassionate mentor who was always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Away from work, Phillis's spirit truly shone. She had an infectious love for life, which she expressed through her passions for dancing and skating. Friends and family recall her graceful moves on the dance floor and her joyful laughter as she glided on skates, a testament to her vibrant personality. Phillis was also known for her generous heart. She loved to shop, often spending her time selecting the perfect gifts to bring smiles to the faces of those she loved. Her thoughtfulness and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone she met. A service to celebrate Phillis's life will be held on July 7, 2026, at Vaughn Green Funeral Home, located at 2916 York Road. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well-lived and to share stories of the joy Phillis brought into their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Phillis's own spirit of giving and her commitment to making the world a better place. Phillis Green leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and joy. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her, and her memory will forever be a blessing.
