Phillip Rogers

August 15, 1989 — February 12, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phillip Rogers, a beloved son, brother, and father, who was taken from us far too soon on February 12, 2026, at the age of 36. Phillip was born on August 15, 1989, in Cleveland, Ohio, where his journey began as a beacon of light and hope for all who knew him. Phillip's life was a testament to resilience and love in the face of adversity. He was a man who lived by the creed "guns down, gloves up," a simple yet powerful reminder of his dedication to peace and resolution over violence. Despite the senseless violence that ultimately claimed his life, Phillip's message and spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who had the privilege of knowing him. Phillip was the cherished son of Cheynne Rogers and Lloyd Turner, who instilled in him the values of kindness, integrity, and compassion. His mother's passing left a profound impact on Phillip, but he carried her memory with grace and honor throughout his life. His siblings, who predeceased him, were his lifelong companions and confidants, sharing countless memories and adventures that filled his heart with joy. Above all, Phillip was a devoted father to his two beautiful children, whose laughter and love were the center of his world. Though his time with them was tragically cut short, he leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and dedication that will forever guide them. Phillip's life will be honored and celebrated at a memorial service to be held on March 15, 2026, at 8:33 AM at Hope Church, located at 850 E Cactus Ave. Family, friends, and all whose lives he touched are invited to join in remembering a man whose heart was as vast as the ocean and whose spirit was as unyielding as the mountains. As we gather to celebrate Phillip's life, let us remember the kindness he showed, the laughter he shared, and the peace he championed. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to organizations dedicated to reducing violence and supporting peaceful conflict resolution, causes that were dear to Phillip's heart. Though Phillip is no longer with us in body, his spirit will continue to inspire us to choose love over hate, peace over conflict, and to always keep our gloves up in the fight for a better world. Rest in peace, dear Phillip. You are forever loved and never forgotten.
