Born on March 13, 1936, in Wyandotte County, Phillip was a man whose life was a testament to love, hard work, and dedication to family and community. Phillip was predeceased by his cherished wife, Jetta Porter, with whom he shared a long and loving marriage filled with mutual respect and care. Together, they built a life that was rich in joy and companionship, leaving behind a legacy of love for their family. A man of great industrious spirit, Phillip owned a Safeway store, where he not only provided for his family but also served his community with dedication and warmth. Beyond his professional life, Phillip found great joy in woodworking, a passion that allowed him to create beautiful, handcrafted pieces that will be treasured by his family for generations. He was equally passionate about yard work, finding peace and satisfaction in cultivating his garden, which was always a source of pride and a gathering place for family and friends. Phillip's loving nature was evident to all who knew him. His kindness and generosity touched many lives, and his presence will be deeply missed by his community. His legacy is carried forward by his children, who were inspired by his strength of character and unwavering love. Phillip was also a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren and great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. As we reflect on Phillip's life, we remember him as a warm and loving soul whose strength and kindness will continue to guide his family and friends.
