It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Phillip Freeman, a cherished husband, father, brother, and grandfather. Phillip departed from this world peacefully on March 19, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on December 23, 1961, in the close-knit community of Arab, Alabama, Phillip was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Phillip was the beloved son of Chester and Dolly Freeman, who instilled in him the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion. Their memory was a guiding light in his life, and he now joins them in eternal rest. Phillip was also predeceased by his brothers, Danny and Jeff Freeman, and his cherished wife, Rhonda Freeman, with whom he shared a beautiful journey of love and companionship that began when he married Rhonda Pate. A master craftsman, Phillip dedicated his career to the art of hardwood installation, where his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality set him apart. His work was not merely a job but a reflection of his character; each plank laid with care, each floor a testament to his dedication and expertise. Phillip's friendly demeanor and warm smile made him a favorite among clients and colleagues alike, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. Family was the cornerstone of Phillip's life. He was a loving father to his son, Brian, and a devoted grandfather to his precious grandchildren, Jasmine and Jacob Freeman, who brought him immense joy and pride. He cherished every moment spent with them, imparting wisdom and creating memories that will forever be treasured. Phillip's sister, Linda Holmes, survives him, and her enduring love and support were a comfort to him throughout his life. Phillip's legacy is one of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear. His life was a testament to the power of friendship and family, and he touched the lives of many with his genuine spirit and selfless nature. Though he has left this earthly realm, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. In accordance with Phillip's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held, allowing family and close friends to honor his life in an intimate setting. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived, grateful for the moments we shared and the love he gave so freely. Phillip Freeman will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire and guide all who loved him. May he rest in peace, embraced by the everlasting love of his family and the cherished memories he left behind.
