Peter’s passion for learning and teaching was not only a profession but a calling. His distinguished role as the Superintendent for the Catholic Independent Schools in the Victoria region was a testament to his commitment to faith-based education. Peter's retirement was no less impactful. He contributed to the British Columbia College of Teachers until 2006, sharing his wisdom and experience to shape future educators. A proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Peter was an active participant in its charitable endeavors. A man of varied interests, Peter was an avid reader, often found with several books by his side, spanning both fiction and nonfiction. His love for sports was lifelong; he excelled in rugby as a young man in England and continued to enjoy soccer and hockey in Canada, both as a player and coach. Peter was also a familiar sight in James Bay and Beacon Hill Park, where he spent many afternoons watching rugby and cricket. Peter was known for his quick wit, sharp sense of humor, and infectious laughter. His loyalty as a friend was unwavering, maintaining lifelong relationships since his arrival in Canada over 55 years ago.
