With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Peter, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, who left this world unexpectedly on September 29, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on July 20, 1982, in Godfrey, Illinois, Peter's life was tragically cut short due to a car accident, leaving a profound void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. Peter was the cherished son of Peter and Song, who raised him with love, strength, and compassion. He shared a close bond with his siblings, Michael and Tonya, who stood by him through life's myriad journeys. As a proud father, Peter's greatest joy came from his two sons, Peter and Mason, who were the light of his life and the legacy he leaves behind. Peter's life was enriched by his partnership with Alice Godec, with whom he shared countless cherished memories and dreams for the future. Together, they navigated the joys and challenges of life, always supporting one another with unwavering love and respect. A dedicated entrepreneur, Peter was the owner of a successful business, where he poured his heart and soul into every endeavor. His work was a testament to his commitment to excellence and his desire to make a positive impact in his community. He was admired not only for his professional accomplishments but also for his kindness, generosity, and unyielding spirit. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Peter's life at a service on October 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., to be held at Lakeside Cemetery, located at 1008 Elm Ave, Cañon City, CO 81212. It will be a time to honor the remarkable life he led and to share stories of the joy and laughter he brought into the lives of those around him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Peter's memory, as a reflection of his giving nature and enduring legacy of compassion.
