Peter Dellaccio

July 1, 1943 — September 24, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Dellaccio, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Peter left this world peacefully on September 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family and friends, who were the cornerstones of his life. His warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Born on July 1, 1943, in the vibrant borough of the Bronx, New York, Peter was the embodiment of the city's resilience and heart. Throughout his life, he carried with him the values and lessons that only a true New Yorker could possess, sharing them generously with those around him. Peter dedicated his life to his family, always putting them first. He was a devoted husband and a proud father, roles in which he found immense joy and fulfillment. His legacy is further enriched by his four grandchildren, who were his pride and joy. Peter's love for his family knew no bounds, and his memory will continue to be a guiding light in their lives. Known for his deep sense of compassion, Peter made it his mission to help others in any way he could. His acts of kindness and generosity left a lasting impact on his community and beyond. Those who knew Peter will remember him for his unwavering support and his ability to bring warmth and laughter into any room. To honor Peter's life and his commitment to helping others, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization close to Peter's heart. The Wounded Warrior Project is located in Jacksonville, FL, and continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans. Peter's life will be celebrated in a private ceremony, as per his wishes. Though the gathering will be intimate, the love and gratitude for Peter’s life will be shared by all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we say goodbye to Peter, we hold onto the countless memories and the love he shared with us. His spirit will forever remain in our hearts, and his legacy of kindness and warmth will continue to inspire us all.
