Born on March 31, 1947, in the close-knit community of Norwalk, Steve lived a life full of love, hard work, and cherished family moments. Steve was a man who believed in the power of hard work and dedication, which he demonstrated throughout his long and fulfilling career in construction. His hands helped shape not just buildings but also the lives of those around him. He was known for his unwavering work ethic, his integrity, and his ability to bring people together, whether it was on the job site or at a family gathering. Beyond his career, Steve had a profound love for the simple joys in life. He was an avid fisherman, finding peace and solace by the water's edge, casting a line, and sharing stories with friends and loved ones. His true passion, however, was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Steve's eyes would light up with joy whenever he was surrounded by his eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, passing down his wisdom and humor to the next generations. Steve leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold him close in their hearts. He is survived by his daughter Mary and his sons Tomas, Anthony, and James. His family was his pride and joy, and he took great comfort in knowing that his legacy of love and strength would continue through them. The family invites all who knew Steve to join them in celebrating his life. A service will be held on August 6, 2026, at St. Linus, located at 13915 Shoemaker Avenue, Norwalk, CA 90650. It will be a time to remember the laughter, the stories, and the love that Steve shared with everyone he met. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Steve's memory to a charity of your choice, as a way to honor his generous spirit and his commitment to helping others.
