June 4, 1979 — February 20, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heartfelt gratitude for his life that we announce the passing of Peron Williams Jr., aged 46, who departed this world on February 20, 2026, after a courageous battle with illness. Born on June 4, 1979, in Washington, D.C., Peron was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend whose infectious laughter and warm spirit left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing him. Peron was the cherished son of Cynthia Williams and the late Peron Williams Sr., who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms into the next life, alongside his beloved Aunt Cheryl. He is survived by his loving mother, Cynthia, who stood by his side with unwavering support and love. His legacy is carried forward by his four wonderful children: Peron Williams 3rd, Lailah, Kiara, and Keron, who were the pride and joy of his life. Peron was a nurturing brother to Shalonda and Alasia, and a caring uncle to Tyrik and Tyron, instilling in them wit, wisdom, and the importance of family bonds. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. A proud graduate of Roosevelt High School, Class of 1998, Peron was celebrated as the funniest student, a testament to his lifelong ability to bring joy to those around him. His humor was not just a personal trait, but a gift he shared generously, brightening the lives of everyone he encountered. For 12 years, Peron dedicated his career to South West Bid, where he played a pivotal role in improving several parts of the city. His work was not just a job but a passion, reflecting his commitment to making the world a better place for future generations. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Peron was a man of many interests. An avid fisherman, he found solace and joy in the peacefulness of the water—a love passed down from his father, which he embraced fully. Peron was also a devoted caretaker of his beloved puppies, who brought him comfort and companionship throughout his life. Peron's personality was as vibrant as it was comforting. Known for being the mood lightener, he had a unique talent for making everyone feel welcomed and valued. His presence was a balm to the soul, and his laughter was a melody that will echo in the hearts of all who knew him. Though Peron's time with us was far too brief, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those he leaves behind. While he did not have the joy of becoming a grandfather, his legacy is woven into the lives of his children, who will carry forward his love, humor, and kindness. A celebration of Peron's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share in the joy he brought to our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in his memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting Peron's generous spirit and commitment to helping others. Peron Williams Jr. may have left this earthly plane, but the laughter he inspired and the love he shared will remain with us always.
