Perez was born on November 10, 1946, in the welcoming town of Monroeville, Alabama, a place where he planted roots and fostered a legacy of love and service.
Perez was the cherished son of Trenton Hector and Candice Gaines, who have predeceased him and now welcome him into eternal peace. He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Janice Hector, his loving son, Timothy Hector, and a host of adoring nieces and nephews. His life was further enriched by the laughter and joy of his eight grandchildren, whose lives he touched with infinite love and wisdom.
From an early age, Perez embraced a life of service, dedicating himself to his country with distinction. Brother Perez served in the military with honor, reaching the esteemed rank of Master Sergeant over his commendable 20-year career.
