Pedro Soto

July 21, 1943 — October 22, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pedro Soto, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on October 22, 2026. Born on July 21, 1943, in the warm embrace of Puerto Rico, Pedro was the beloved son of Roberto Soto and Maria Sanchez. He is now reunited with them, along with his brother Daniel Soto and cousin Jeffery Perez, who have preceded him in death. Pedro was a pillar of strength and joy in the lives of all who knew him. He spent 24 dedicated years working as an auto mechanic at Midas Automotive, where his skill and integrity earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike. But beyond his professional life, Pedro's true passion lay in the simple joys of life. An avid fisherman, he found peace and joy in the rhythm of casting a line and the tranquility of nature. His kitchen was often filled with laughter and the rich aroma of his cooking, as he delighted in preparing meals for his loved ones. Pedro was known for his warm smiles, infectious humor, and a heart that was always ready to lend a helping hand. His family and friends were the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them, especially his grandchildren, who brought him endless joy. Pedro leaves behind a family who will forever carry his love and spirit in their hearts: his devoted wife of 30 years, Cindy Soto; his daughters Sharon Soto and Jenny Soto; his stepdaughter Veronica Rosario; and his two sons, Jamie Soto and Randy Soto. His legacy also lives on in his three grandchildren, who were the light of his life. A service to celebrate Pedro's life will be held on October 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Ortiz Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Pedro's memory. The Soto family extends their deepest gratitude to everyone who has offered their support and kindness during this difficult time. They are profoundly thankful for the love and memories shared with Pedro and express their heartfelt appreciation from the bottom of their hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Pedro Soto welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
