Pearlie Lou (McCarty) Allred

February 14, 1939 — May 27, 2026

With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Pearlie Lou (McCarty) Allred on May 27, 2026, in the loving embrace of her family. Born on February 14, 1939, in the quaint town of Ozark, Arkansas, Pearl was a beloved daughter of Lish and Mary (Gregory) McCarty. She was a cherished sister to Paul McCarty, Helen Shipp, Mae Shipp, Viola Childers, and Roxie Fielden, all of whom have preceded her in death. Pearl's early years in Pryor, Oklahoma, were marked by a vibrant upbringing filled with the love and laughter of her siblings. She graduated from Pryor High School in 1956 and soon after pursued her passion, earning her cosmetology license. Her career as a beautician was only the beginning of a lifelong commitment to caring for others. On April 6, 1957, Pearl married the love of her life, Clyde J. Allred, in Pryor, Oklahoma. Together, they built a nurturing home over 69 wonderful years, raising their two children, Rick and Sheri, with unwavering devotion. Pearl's role as a mother was her most cherished vocation, and she embraced every moment, from playtime with her children and grandchildren to cheering them on at their many activities, ensuring they always felt important and loved. Pearl's deep faith was the cornerstone of her life. A devout Christian, she found community and purpose at the Elliott Church of God, where she shared her love for God with others through Bible Quiz coaching and the communal joy of quilting. Her dedication as a prayer warrior was a source of strength for her family, as she continually uplifted them with her prayers, making sure they always knew the love of God. An accomplished seamstress, Pearl crafted beautiful clothes and dresses, infusing each stitch with love. Her joyful spirit was reflected in her hobbies, which included bowling, playing cards, and traveling — activities she shared with friends and family alike, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Pearl is survived by her devoted husband, Clyde, of the home; her loving son Rick Allred and his wife Annie of Claremore, Okla.; her caring daughter Sheri Ray and her husband Todd of Pryor, Okla.; her treasured grandchildren, Kandi McClure and her husband Jared, Elisha Linton and her husband Phillip, Tyler Ray and his wife Samantha, and Samantha Ray; as well as five precious great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. She is also survived by her dear sister, Juanita Pace of Tahlequah, Okla., and her brother, Wayne “Bud” McCarty and his wife Vanessa of Inola, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will dearly miss her gentle spirit and steadfast love. As we remember Pearl, we celebrate her legacy of love, faith, and devotion. Her life was a testament to the power of family and the strength of a loving heart. She leaves behind a tapestry of cherished memories and a family grounded in the values she held dear. Her gentle presence and unwavering faith will remain with us, guiding us and comforting us in the days to come. A service to honor Pearl's beautiful life will be held at Elliott Church of God, where her spirit will be celebrated with the same warmth and love she shared with everyone she met. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Elliott Church of God Quilting Group, to continue the work that brought her so much joy. Pearl's light shines on through the lives she touched, and she will forever be remembered with love.
