She passed away peacefully at home, enveloped by the love of her devoted family.
Pauline was the cherished daughter of John and Mary Smith, who instilled in her the values of compassion and dedication that she carried throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her four beloved granddaughters: Bonnie Morgan, Dedra Kennedy, Chanta Dames, and Anna Dames, who now embrace her in the heavenly realm.
A proud graduate of Macon County High School, Pauline devoted herself tirelessly to her community and faith. Her spiritual journey was marked by her profound dedication as a deaconess, serving her congregation with unwavering commitment for many years. As an active member of the House of God Church for 36 years, her faith was a guiding beacon not only for her but for all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her legacy lives on through her four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her indomitable spirit. Pauline was also blessed with a loving extended family, including numerous nieces and nephews, who she cherished deeply.
A celebration of her life will be held on March 21, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Real Life Church, located at 2491 Gray Highway. Friends and family are invited to gather and honor a life that was lived with grace, kindness, and an unyielding commitment to the betterment of others.
