January 26, 1954 — July 12, 2026

With heavy hearts and profound respect, we announce the passing of our beloved Pauline, who departed this world on July 12, 2026, at the age of 72, after a courageous battle with illness. Born on January 26, 1954, in the vibrant city of St. Andrews Kingston, Jamaica, Pauline was a cherished daughter of the late Ethmond and Fredericka Prawl. She is now reunited with her dear sisters Valerie and Hyacinth, and her brother Archibald, who predeceased her. Pauline's life was a testament to love, dedication, and community. She received her education through the Pembroke Hall public school system in Kingston, Jamaica. Guided by an innate passion for nurturing young minds, Pauline spent over 20 years as a devoted caregiver for infants and school-aged children. Her journey in education continued as she served as a second-grade teacher at Duaney Park Primary School in Kingston, Jamaica, for five memorable years, shaping the lives of countless children with her warmth and wisdom. Pauline's commitment to service extended beyond the classroom. In her later years, she worked as a cafeteria helper, where her kindness and nurturing spirit continued to touch many lives. An active member of her community, Pauline was known for helping to raise the children of her neighborhood and for her unwavering support in community organizations. Her love of family and cooking was evident in the delicious meals she prepared, which brought comfort and joy to both her family and community. Pauline took immense pride in caring for her loved ones, embodying the role of a matriarch who fostered a sense of togetherness and unconditional love. Pauline leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in her children: Tina, Audley, Kwayne, Tanjah, Christopher, and Kemo, as well as three adoring grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory. A celebration of Pauline's life will be held on September 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Perry's Funeral Home LTD, located at 27 Jobs Lane, Spanish Town, St. Catherine. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in honor of Pauline's generous spirit. As her family, we celebrate Pauline with hearts full of love, gratitude, and cherished memories. She was the foundation of our strength and the embodiment of unconditional love. We take comfort in knowing that her love will forever live within us.
