Pauline Griffin
March 1, 1935 — August 23, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Pauline Griffin, who left this world peacefully at her home, surrounded by her cherished family, on August 23, 2026. Pauline was born on March 1, 1935, in Dalton, Georgia, to the late George and Mart Griffin. She lived a life full of grace, love, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.
Pauline's life was a testament to the strength of love and kindness. A devoted mother and grandmother, she was the heart and soul of her family. Her daughters, Donna, Sherry, and Sharon, were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her legacy lives on in her seven grandchildren, who brought her endless delight and whom she adored beyond measure.
Her warm spirit and generous nature were felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Pauline's home was always open, and she made sure everyone felt welcomed and loved. Her gentle wisdom and infectious laughter left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
A woman of deep faith, Pauline was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Dalton. Her commitment to her faith and her church community was unwavering, and she found great purpose and joy in serving others.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate Pauline's remarkable life on August 29, 2026, at 12:20 PM at the First Baptist Church of Dalton, located at 311 N. Thornton Ave., Dalton, GA 30720. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in remembering and honoring a life well-lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Pauline's memory to a charity of your choice, as this would reflect her generous spirit and enduring love for helping others.
Pauline Griffin will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in our hearts. As we say goodbye, we find comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her parents, George and Mart, and that her spirit lives on in all who were blessed to know her.
