Paulette White Alston, born May 10, 1938, in Charlotte, North Carolina, peacefully passed away in her sleep on September 19, 2026. Paulette was a devoted mother to her beloved children: Traphiena Harris of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Sheridan Outlaw (Sabrina) of Kinston, North Carolina, and TJ Barrett of the home. Her nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren, Ayana Harris, Dennis Harris, Jordan Harris, Sheridan Harmon, Terion Arnold, Armonte Arnold, and Sharonda White, as well as her bonus grandchildren, Nyjeem Davis and Sanyia Hobbs. Paulette's love further embraced her precious great-grandchildren, Nasir Harris, Kamorah Harris, and Neriah Harmon. Her family, along with a host of other dear relatives and friends, will forever treasure the light she brought into their lives. A woman of strength and resilience, Paulette pursued a career in healthcare, earning her credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her professional life was characterized by a compassionate dedication to serving others, providing care to those in need within her community. Paulette's perseverance and determination were evident in all aspects of her life, as she faced challenges with grace and an unyielding spirit. Beyond her professional achievements, Paulette found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished moments spent with her family and friends, found solace in reading her Bible, and enjoyed watching movies. Her faith was a cornerstone of her existence, providing her with strength and guidance throughout her life. Paulette's life was a testament to her independence, service, and unwavering faith. A celebration of Paulette's life will be held on September 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel, located at 208 E. Blount St., Charlotte, NC 28203. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made to a charity of one's choice, in honor of Paulette's spirit of giving and service.
