In Loving Memory

Paulette Sutton
November 11, 1980 — May 25, 2026
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Paulette Sutton, who left this world on May 25, 2026, at the age of 45. Paulette was a beacon of love, kindness, and devotion, whose radiant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
Born on November 11, 1980, in Virginia, Paulette was the cherished daughter of Bernice Deans and Calvin Brown. Growing up in a nurturing and supportive family, she was deeply influenced by her mother Bernice, who predeceased her, and her sister Angela Deans, whose memory she carried lovingly in her heart.
Paulette was a devoted sister to Rose Westberry and a caring sibling to her two stepbrothers, David Woodhouse, alongside his wife Katicia Woodhouse, and Thomas Brown. Her family was her pride and joy, and she found immense happiness in the bonds they shared.
Paulette attended Woodrow Wilson and later continued her education at Norton High School until life’s journey took her to Florida. It was there she embarked on a career that would define her legacy. Initially working as a manager at Wendy’s, Paulette discovered her true calling in the noble profession of nursing. Her compassion and dedication to care for others were hallmarks of her career, and she brought comfort and healing to countless lives.
For over a decade, Paulette was a devoted member of Christian Heritage, where she found a welcoming community that bolstered her faith and offered her spiritual enrichment. Her commitment to her faith was unwavering, and she was known and loved for her selfless service to those around her.
Paulette's greatest joy, however, was found in her role as a mother. She lovingly raised and cared for her three children, nurturing them into adulthood with wisdom, strength, and endless love. Her legacy lives on in her children and her cherished grandchild, who was the light of her life.
A celebration of Paulette Sutton’s life will be held on June 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Heritage Christian Center. Family, friends, and all who were touched by her presence are invited to join in honoring her memory and celebrating the beautiful life she led.
In the words of those who knew her best, Paulette was a remarkable woman whose love, courage, and kindness left an indelible mark on the world. Though her time with us was far too short, her spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know her.
As we bid farewell to Paulette, we hold her close in our hearts, grateful for the love she shared and the legacy she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved mother and sister, and forever remembered by her family and friends.
