In Loving Memory

Paulette L Belford
September 18, 1946 — May 24, 2026
It is with profound sadness and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Paulette L. Belford, a cherished friend, devoted partner, beloved mother, and an irreplaceable spirit, who left this world on May 24, 2026. Born on September 18, 1946, in the serene town of Watertown, Minnesota, Polly, as she was affectionately known, graced us with 79 years of life filled with love, laughter, and boundless generosity before she peacefully passed after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at Shenandoah Hospice House.
Polly was the beloved daughter of the late Nicholas and Lois Libor, and the dear sister to Shirley Duncan, Judy Ziebell, Gayle Tripp, and David Libor. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Bonnie, and her brother Rick, who now welcome her with open arms in their heavenly home.
A devoted family woman, Polly's heart was immense and her love knew no bounds. She is survived by her significant other and love of her life, Paul Day, whose companionship and shared adventures brought her immeasurable joy. Her legacy of love continues through her children, Jessica Parker and Jason Sandoval, who were the pride of her life. Polly's nurturing spirit lives on in her grandchildren, Sarah Parker Iserman and her husband Mike, Kalisa Parker and her fiancé Jeremy Terwisscha Jr., and Amanda Parker, to whom she was a guiding light and a source of endless encouragement.
Polly's educational journey began at Wayzata High School, setting the foundation for a life of diverse roles and accomplishments. Her professional endeavors were as varied as they were fulfilling, from nurturing young minds as an in-home daycare provider to her ventures in management at NW Microfilm, BP in Brooklyn Park, and On The Run in Elk River. Each role was a testament to her dedication, resilience, and innate ability to touch lives.
A woman of many passions, Polly was an active member of several automotive clubs, including The Model T Ford Club, AACA Waynesboro Division, Shenandoah Rocketeers, Skyline A's, and the Shenandoah British Car Club, where she shared her love for classic cars. Her hobbies were as diverse as her spirit, ranging from woodworking and gardening to crafts and even skydiving. Polly found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as watching birds and animals or serenading loved ones with her occasional karaoke performances. Her love for travel and adventure was contagious, inspiring those around her to embrace life's journey with an open heart.
Polly was a remarkable woman, known for her kind nature, unwavering strength, and infectious humor. Her smile could light up any room, and her willingness to help others made her a treasured friend and confidant. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness and the impact of a loving heart.
In honoring Polly's life and wishes, a private ceremony will be held to celebrate her incredible journey. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the American Cancer Society, an organization close to Polly's heart, in hopes of supporting others in their fight against cancer.
As we bid farewell to a remarkable soul, we carry forward the love, laughter, and lessons Polly bestowed upon us. Her spirit lives on in the hearts and memories of all who were blessed to know her. May her legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire us all.
