Paula Stewart
May 31, 1965 — July 21, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paula Stewart, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world on July 21, 2026, at the age of 61. Paula was born on May 31, 1965, in the warm embrace of Greensboro, Georgia, to her loving parents, Lula Fulton and William Ransom, who have both preceded her in death. She was the cherished wife of the late Thomson Stephen’s JR, with whom she shared a beautiful family until his untimely passing in 1994.
Paula's life was a testament to love, resilience, and dedication. She was a devoted mother to her four children: Deneisha Ransom, Antonio Stephen’s, Alexandria Ransom, and Dana Ransom. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were the foundations upon which her family grew and thrived. Her legacy continues through her four adored grandchildren, whom she treasured and doted on with endless love.
A proud graduate of Greene-Taliaferro County School, Paula carried the values of education and perseverance throughout her life. Her passion for cooking filled her home with warmth and joy, creating memories that her family will cherish forever. Paula found her greatest joy in being present for her grandchildren, sharing stories, laughter, and the kind of love that only a grandmother can provide.
Paula was surrounded by the love of her siblings throughout her life. She leaves behind six sisters: Leitha Health, Mammie Fulton, Gennette Fulton, Linda Fulton, Thelma Fulton, and Abertha Fulton; and three brothers: Robert Fulton, William Ransom, and Paul Ransom. They stood as pillars of strength and unity, reflecting the deep bonds of family that Paula held dear.
A celebration of Paula’s life will be held on July 28, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Randolph Baptized Church, located at 2811 Randolph Church Rd, Union Point, GA 30669. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring and remembering the extraordinary life of a woman who touched so many hearts with her kindness and generosity.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Paula's memory, honoring her spirit of giving and compassion for others.
As we say goodbye to Paula, we hold onto the beautiful memories and the indelible mark she left on all who knew her. Her love will continue to guide and inspire us every day.
