February 23, 1961 — June 16, 2026

It is with profound sadness and heartfelt respect that we announce the passing of Paula Malone on June 16, 2026. Paula was born on February 23, 1961, in Camp Le Jeune, North Carolina, and left this world peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Paula was the cherished daughter of William and Ethel Pinder, who predeceased her. She was also preceded in death by her beloved son, Napoleon Malone; her sister-in-law, Angela Malone; and the father of her children, Ernest Malone. Though our hearts are heavy with their absence, we find comfort in knowing they are now reunited. Paula was a woman of great strength and warmth, whose legacy will continue through her surviving family members. She leaves behind her devoted fiancé, John Hadel, who stood by her side with unwavering love and support. Her children, Tyson Malone and his wife Mallory, Konesha Malone, and Marcus Malone, were the pride and joy of her life. Her grandchildren—Titus, Bryce, Bentley, Jadyne, and William—held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them. In total, Paula leaves behind ten grandchildren, each a testament to the love and kindness she infused into her family. Paula is also survived by her loving siblings, Roger Pinder and Viola Pinder-Brown, who shared with her a lifetime of memories and unconditional support. Her extended family, including Monique Williams and Shirley Hightower, will always remember Paula’s generosity, compassion, and her infectious laughter that could light up any room. Paula lived a life full of love and dedication, not only to her family but also to her community. She was known for her unwavering faith, her nurturing spirit, and her ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and hospitality, where countless memories were made and cherished. Her family will honor her life with a private funeral ceremony, respecting her wishes for an intimate gathering. Though the ceremony is private, we know that her spirit will be celebrated by all who were fortunate to know her. As we say goodbye to Paula, we hold her close in our hearts, grateful for the indelible mark she has left on all of us. Her love will continue to guide us, and her memory will be our constant source of inspiration. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity close to Paula's heart, ensuring her legacy of kindness and care continues to touch lives. Paula Malone, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, partner, and friend, will be dearly missed but lovingly remembered. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so generously gave.
