Paula was the cherished daughter of Pedro Benavidez and the late Norma Benavidez. Her life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and resilience. She was predeceased by her beloved mother Norma, her siblings Priscilla Benavidez and Patricia Cruz, and her grandparents Fidencio Garcia, Natalie Cortez, Maria Alicia Benavidez, and Daniel Benavidez. Though now reunited with her late family members, Paula's spirit continues to illuminate the lives of those she leaves behind.
A graduate of South Garland High School in Garland, Texas, Paula pursued her passion for beauty and creativity by earning her cosmetology license. Her hands worked magic, transforming not just appearances but boosting the confidence and spirits of her clients.
Paula radiated joy and warmth, effortlessly lighting up every room she entered with her infectious smile and vibrant personality. Her ability to make those around her feel seen and cherished was a gift she shared generously. A conversation with Paula was like a gentle embrace, offering comfort and understanding.
Her legacy of love perseveres in her two children, Anthony Rodriguez and Victoria Rodriguez, who were the center of her world. She adored her grandchild, Sebastian Andrade, who brought immense joy and laughter into her life. Paula's nurturing spirit and unwavering dedication to her family will forever be remembered and cherished.
She is also survived by her dear sister Rosalynda Benavidez and treasured nieces and nephews: Zachary Benavidez, Adrianna MacDonald, Miguel Cruz, Carlie Mangus, Christopher Berrios, Gabriella Berrios, Sofia Berrios, and Christian Berrios. Paula's life was enriched by the love and bonds she shared with her family, who will miss her dearly.
