Paula Cushing Green

January 30, 1962 — May 7, 2026

With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for the life she lived, we announce the passing of Paula Cushing Green, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Paula departed this world on May 7, 2026, surrounded by her family who cherished her deeply. She was 64 years old. Paula was born on January 30, 1962, to James Warren Cushing and Ila Wright, who have predeceased her. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Warren and Kevin Cushing, her brother-in-law Neil Green, sister-in-law Becky Green, father-in-law Clifton Green, and brother-in-law Jeff Page. While we mourn her departure, we are comforted knowing she is reunited with her loved ones who went before her. Growing up in a spirited household, Paula developed a keen sense of humor and an uncanny ability to remember even the smallest details—a gift that endeared her to many. She shared this warmth and laughter with everyone she met and was known for always having the best jokes at the ready. Paula and her beloved husband, David Green, shared a beautiful life together. The couple first met as neighbors and sparked a connection that was as enduring as it was vibrant. Their first date, where Paula showcased her prowess on the basketball court, was the beginning of a lifelong partnership. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 8, 1980—a union that became a cornerstone of her life and the lives of their children, Joe and Jenna. Paula dedicated over 20 years of her life to serving the community as a letter carrier at the Riverton Post Office. Her commitment to her work was a testament to her character—one marked by dedication and a strong work ethic. However, it was her life outside of work that truly defined her. An avid lover of basketball and softball, Paula found joy in sports, both as a player and a spectator. Camping trips and family gatherings filled with games and country music were among her most cherished memories. Education was important to Paula, and she proudly graduated from Bingham High School in 1980. Her time as a student was filled with the same laughter and camaraderie she carried throughout her life. Paula is survived by her devoted husband, David; her children, Joe (Kristen) and Jenna (Chris); and her four precious grandchildren, Brandon, Evan, Wyatt, and Adalee, who brought her immense joy and pride. Additionally, she leaves behind her three loving sisters, Cheryl (Shay), Mary (Rod), and Karen, who will forever hold her in their hearts. As we remember Paula, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys. Her legacy lives on in the laughter of her grandchildren, the stories shared by her family, and the countless lives she touched with her warmth and humor. A memorial service to honor Paula’s life will be held at [Location] on [Date and Time]. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to [Charity/Organization], reflecting Paula’s generous spirit and commitment to helping others. May Paula’s memory be a blessing to all who knew her and may her spirit continue to inspire us to live with love and laughter.
