Paula J. Titus

Paula J. Titus, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully departed this world on September 1, 2026, after courageously facing a nine-year battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born on February 20, 1942, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to Stephen and Angela Kercsmar, Paula radiated warmth and love throughout her life, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. Paula grew up in Bethlehem, where she graduated from Liberty High School in May 1960 with a focus on Business Administration. Her career began at the Bethlehem Steel Corporation, where she worked diligently as an Executive Secretary/Administrator for 13 years. Her dedication and commitment were evident in every aspect of her work and personal life. In 1964, Paula married Robert A. Perry, and together they built a loving family with their two children, Robert S. Perry and Abby L. Perry-Hartman. Though their marriage ended in 1978, Paula's journey in love continued when she married Donald W. Titus in 1985, and moved to Glenmoore PA. Paula and Donald shared a beautiful life together, happily married for 41 years, filled with love, joy, and mutual respect. Paula's life was rich with passion and interests. A member of the American Kennel Club, various gardening clubs, and a member of the Paoli Hospital Women's Auxiliary. Paula was actively involved in her community. Her love for nature was evident as she enjoyed gardening, sailing, hiking, and modeling. Her home, filled with plants and animals, was always welcoming, reflecting her caring nature and quick wit. Known for her excellent cooking and hospitality, Paula ensured everyone felt comfortable and cherished in her presence. Paula's legacy continues through her loving family, including her devoted husband, Donald W. Titus; her children, Robert S. Perry and Abby L. Perry-Hartman; and her granddaughter, Hailey G. Hartman. She was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Angela Kercsmar; her sister, Sandra Fonteccia; and her grandson, Brandon J. Perry. Her close friends, Helen Perry, Doreen and Frank Newby, and Tom and Joanne Horn, remember her fondly and cherish the memories they shared. A memorial service to celebrate Paula's life will be held on November 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Stonecroft Center for Worship, Tel Hai Retirement Living, located at 4000 Treeline Dr, Honeybrook, PA 19344. This will help ensure that proper arrangements are made to accommodate all attendees. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Tel Hai Retirement Facility, especially the Hospice Unit, for their compassionate care during Paula's battle with Alzheimer's. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association in Paula's memory would be appreciated, honoring her enduring spirit and the love she shared with the world. Due to her great love of animals, another suggestion would be the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
