Born on March 13, 1953, in Detroit, MI, Paul was a beacon of strength, love, and warmth to all who knew him. Paul was the beloved son of Joann and Peter Wallace, who predeceased him and whose values and teachings he carried forward throughout his life. He was a cherished husband to Michelle Wallace, with whom he shared a loving and enduring marriage. Together, they built a family rooted in love and laughter, raising three wonderful children: Micol, Gregory, and Shelley Wallace, all of whom survive him and will continue to honor his legacy. Paul was a proud alumnus of Cooley High School, where he laid the foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth. His commitment to service was exemplified in his military tenure from 1974 to 1976, where he served his country with dedication and honor, forging bonds and values that would guide him throughout his life. After his honorable discharge, Paul joined the Ford Motor Company, where he dedicated decades of hard work and innovation, finally enjoying a well-deserved retirement that allowed him to spend more time with his family, a joy he treasured deeply. His colleagues remember him as a man of integrity and loyalty, whose work ethic was only surpassed by his kindness. Paul's life was enriched by the love of his three grandchildren, who were the light of his later years. He found immense joy in watching them grow, always ready with a story, a joke, or a word of encouragement. His legacy will live on through them, in the stories they tell and the values they uphold. A private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate Paul's life, in accordance with the family's wishes. Those who had the privilege to know him will remember his gentle spirit, his unwavering kindness, and the quiet yet profound impact he had on their lives. Paul Wallace leaves behind a tapestry of love and memories that will forever be cherished by his family and friends. While our hearts are heavy with his loss, we find comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on in the lives of those he touched. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Paul's honor to a charity of your choice, in the spirit of kindness and generosity that Paul embodied throughout his life.
