Obituary of Paul Timothy Turner It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Paul Timothy Turner, who peacefully left this world on April 19, 2026, at the age of 62, after a courageous and complicated battle with cancer. He spent his final days surrounded by loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and resilience. Paul was born on December 17, 1963, in Massillon, Ohio, to the late Rachel Turner and Paul Turner Sr., who have surely welcomed him with open arms in the hereafter. Also preceding him in death are his beloved brother, Isaac Turner; cherished grandson, Averi Middlebrook; and dear aunts, Celina Davenport and Destinee Turner. A devoted father and brother, Paul is survived by a large, loving family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. His children, LeKyla Middlebrook, Britney Suel, Brittany Turner, Paige Turner, Leah Lavender, Donetta Jones, Katira Cornett, Madison Davenport, Rakia Davenport, Asha Odelle, and son Justin (Evalynn) Turner; his brother, Allen (Melissa) Turner; and sisters, Casheya Turner and Diamond (Maxwell) Chayy, were his greatest pride and joy. Paul was also a cherished grandfather to eighteen grandchildren, who brought him immense happiness and fulfillment. Paul's life was one of dedication and service, both in his professional and personal worlds. After graduating from Perry High School in 1981, he joined the Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus, Ohio, in 1982, where his love for sports blossomed. Paul dedicated 30 years of his life as a Senior Janitor at The Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, from 1994 until his retirement in 2024. His diligent work ethic and cheerful demeanor made a lasting impact on his colleagues and all who crossed his path. Beyond his career, Paul found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished spending time with his family, casting his fishing line into serene waters, and engaging in spirited games of baseball, basketball, and especially football—his favorite pastime. Known for his infectious smile and quick wit, Paul had a remarkable ability to lift the spirits of those around him, ensuring that no one ever left his presence without a brighter day. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Paul's life on April 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home & Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, located at 5000 Everhard Rd NW, Canton, OH 44718. While the world has lost a gentle soul, Paul's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a cancer research charity of your choice, in honor of Paul's valiant fight and enduring spirit. As we say goodbye to a man who brought so much light into our lives, we hold on to the countless memories and the love he shared with us all. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
