February 3, 1949 — June 6, 2026

It is with deep sorrow, yet profound gratitude for a life well-lived, that we announce the passing of Paul “Skip” Scipioni on June 6, 2026. Born on February 3, 1949, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, Skip was a man whose heart was as expansive as the roads he traveled. He left this world peacefully at home, surrounded by the cherished love of his family, just as he wished. Skip was the beloved son of Paul Scipioni and Dorothy Brandt, both of whom predeceased him. He was also preceded in death by his devoted wife, Margaret Scipioni, whom he married on April 7, 1979. Together, they crafted a beautiful life filled with shared dreams and enduring love, a testament to their nearly five decades of marriage. A proud graduate of the Northern Lebanon High School class of 1967, Skip embarked on a career that would take him to the far reaches of the United States. Working as a truck driver for 45 years, he had the opportunity to witness the grandeur of 48 out of the 50 states. Even after retirement, his passion for the open road continued as he drove a school van, ensuring the safe travels of countless children. Skip was a man defined by his faith and generosity. As an active member of Christ’s American Baptist Church in Spring Grove, he served the Lord with unwavering devotion and a heart full of kindness. Always ready to lend a helping hand, Skip embodied his favorite saying, "Jesus is always taking care of me so there is no reason to worry," living his life in selfless service to others. His legacy of generosity and warmth is the true measure of his character. Skip’s memory will be cherished by his loving daughters, Lydia Kuntz and her husband Erik, and Tammy Craig and her husband David. He was a proud grandfather to three beautiful grandchildren—Jordan, Addie, and B—who brought immense joy to his life and whom he adored with all his heart. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered support during Skip’s final days. Your kindness and compassion have been a source of comfort and strength. A celebration of Skip’s life will be held on June 15, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Christ’s American Baptist Church, located at 730 Menges Mills Rd, Spring Grove, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the SPCA, reflecting Skip’s lifelong love for all creatures great and small. Skip’s life was a testament to the power of kindness, faith, and love. As we say goodbye, let us carry forward his legacy, remembering that through giving, we truly receive.
